Ch. 01 · The story

What it's about

Spoiler level: Minor — for the synopsis & review below

After being forced to take the blame for a wealthy heir, a man returns determined to make his tormentor answer for what happened. His face once made him a useful substitute; now that same resemblance becomes part of his revenge. Years of imprisonment have changed the balance between them. The man who was treated as disposable is ready to turn the tables, setting up a dangerous struggle over identity, power and who gets to control the truth.

Ch. 02 · Our verdict

My take

The borrowed face is what catches my attention: it makes the revenge personal before the fighting even starts. Early reader reactions repeatedly praise the character designs and action panels, which gives this opening a clear visual appeal. I would treat the plotting as a promising setup for now, because there is too little established reception to judge how well its longer revenge arc will hold together.

✓ Read it if…

I would try this when I want the confrontation to feel uncomfortable before anyone throws a punch. The resemblance between the substitute and the heir gives their rivalry an extra edge: the same appearance can represent privilege for one man and everything taken from the other.

! Skip it if…

I would wait if I needed a finished revenge arc or a dependable romantic thread. This is an early action story, and attractive male character designs are not evidence of a confirmed romance. The imprisonment and coercive premise also make it a heavier read.

The face is the hook

What interests me is how the resemblance connects identity with power. A face that once helped someone escape responsibility can become a reminder that the person forced to carry that responsibility has returned. I would read for how the story develops that reversal, rather than assume every revenge beat will pay off immediately.

Art & visual storytelling

Early comments on the official platform repeatedly single out the character drawing, framing and fights. That makes the visual storytelling the clearest reason I would sample the opening. I am keeping that recommendation provisional rather than turning enthusiastic launch reactions into a settled assessment of the whole series.
