Synopsis

A reader who mourned Abril's fate wakes inside the very character she wanted to save. In the original novel, Abril marries Asellas and dies during childbirth because her body cannot tolerate magic. Knowing the outcome gives the new Abril a straightforward survival plan: avoid having his child. Carrying out that decision becomes harder as she encounters the man behind the role and discovers that affection does not automatically solve the danger built into their future.

Story profile
★ My Take

The premise gives the heroine a concrete reason to question the romantic future the story expects her to accept. That conflict is more interesting than the familiar reincarnation framework around it. Reception is relatively limited and notably mixed, so I would approach this as a short, premise-led read. Its central question has appeal, but readers expecting an especially layered execution should keep their expectations modest.

✓ Why you'd like it

Romantic attention is complicated by information only the heroine possesses, which makes otherwise ordinary progress feel risky. The comparatively short completed run also makes it easier to try this specific survival dilemma without committing to several hundred chapters of court drama.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

The threat of death in childbirth is central rather than incidental. Readers sensitive to reproductive pressure may find the setup uncomfortable, and the available community reception offers less reassurance about the execution than about the premise itself.
