Synopsis

Method actor Park Seha and struggling idol Sohn Ji-eon are cast opposite each other as lovers in a queer crime film. Their different backgrounds create immediate friction, but rehearsals demand a closeness neither can easily avoid. As Ji-eon's effort challenges Seha's assumptions, their performances begin to feel uncomfortably personal. Both try to keep their connection within the boundaries of the job, even as those boundaries grow harder to recognize.

Story profile
★ My Take

The strongest hook is how a rehearsal can become both an excuse and a confession. Seha and Ji-eon's uneven professional standing gives their clashes an extra sting. Early reactions highlight the flirtation and ambiguity, but the repeated retreat into calling everything acting may frustrate readers waiting for emotional honesty.

✓ Why you'd like it

Scenes carry two meanings at once: what the characters are performing and what they might actually feel. That uncertainty makes even a work discussion charged, particularly if you enjoy watching a guarded professional lose control of his carefully maintained distance.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

The relationship develops amid hostility and blurred professional boundaries. Readers who dislike prolonged denial may find the push and pull repetitive. The separate Uncut edition is for adults, while the primary linked edition is revised for a wider audience.
