Synopsis

After her first love turned out to be a flirt who treated everyone the same way, Cheonga has no intention of falling for another smooth talker. Then she ends up in a pretend relationship with Seokjae Ban, a man with exactly the reputation she wants to avoid. He seems casual with everyone else, yet keeps gravitating toward her. As their arrangement puts them closer together, Cheonga has to decide whether his attention is another game or something he actually means.

Story profile
★ My Take

The fun lies in how Cheonga's understandable caution clashes with Seokjae's unusually focused attention. Their fake relationship gives the comic room for teasing and mistrust without making her doubts feel silly. Early readers have responded warmly to their chemistry, though the English release is still young enough that the long-term payoff remains open. It's an easy pick if you like playful romance with a little uncertainty under the jokes.

✓ Why you'd like it

Cheonga does not instantly forget what her first crush taught her, so each small shift in how she sees Seokjae has weight. His confident public image and surprisingly persistent interest create a lively push and pull, with the comedy keeping their awkward closeness fun to follow.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Seokjae's flirtatious reputation is the premise's main source of doubt. Readers who want immediate clarity about the male lead's intentions may find the repeated question of whether he is sincere frustrating, especially while the English serialization is still in its early episodes.
