Synopsis

Joo Arin finally has a chance to appear in a film, but one scene makes her nervous: she must kiss her co-star without having experienced a first kiss herself. Fellow agency actor Kang Hajun offers private practice to help her prepare. Working with an established star should make the assignment easier, yet the rehearsals introduce feelings she cannot neatly separate from acting. Her professional opportunity becomes tangled with a much more personal first experience.

Story profile
★ My Take

The kissing lessons give this celebrity romance an immediately readable spark. Its strongest appeal is the movement from professional practice to sincere attraction, with some readers particularly appreciating the couple's willingness to acknowledge their feelings. It is an easy pick for that specific fantasy, though mixed aggregate reception suggests the familiar setup will not charm everyone equally.

✓ Why you'd like it

The rehearsals give every close encounter a built-in excuse, so small changes in intention matter. Watching Arin work out whether a moment belongs to the performance or to her own feelings supplies the central pleasure.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Arin's inexperience is a major part of the attraction, creating an uneven dynamic with the more established actor. Readers wanting equal professional standing or an unfamiliar romance premise may find the central fantasy limiting.
