Synopsis

Overworked office employee Yoo Sara awakens inside a zombie-romance novel as its hated villainess, stranded on an island in the middle of an outbreak. With none of the character's survival experience, she falls back on the skills corporate life taught her: assess the crisis, manage the people around her, and reach the portal before the plot kills her. Her sudden competence, however, begins attracting the male leads she wants to avoid.

Story profile
★ My Take

The series gets real mileage from treating office survival skills as apocalypse training. Sara is observant, organized, and refreshingly uninterested in performing the helpless villainess role, while the clash between workplace humor and zombie danger keeps the early chapters energetic. Because the English release is still new, the romantic ensemble and wider mystery remain more promising than fully developed.

✓ Why you'd like it

It combines two familiar genres in a way that feels playful: a villainess-transmigration story where social awareness, delegation, and crisis management matter as much as weapons. Sara's practical attitude makes her easy to root for, and the island setting supplies immediate urgency.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

The romance is secondary during the opening survival arc, and readers wanting a purely frightening zombie story may find the corporate jokes and attractive male-lead setup too light. At only 25 English episodes, many character relationships and larger plot questions are still developing.
