Synopsis

Fashion students Taerin and Ju-a appear to be close friends, each secure in a long-term relationship. That image collapses when Ju-a joins a televised couples competition with Taerin's boyfriend. Taerin retaliates by partnering with Ju-a's boyfriend, Yoonsik, and the two betrayed contestants enter the same show to expose their exes. Their staged partnership becomes an increasingly convincing alliance as money, public attention, jealousy, and real attraction complicate a revenge plan designed for cameras.

Story profile
★ My Take

The reality-show structure turns romantic revenge into a glossy, highly bingeable competition. Taerin's confidence and Taegeon's striking fashion-focused art give the series its strongest identity, while Yoonsik provides a steadier emotional counterweight. The antagonists can be repetitive and the final romance payoff is brief, but watching the fake couple outmaneuver their exes remains deeply satisfying.

✓ Why you'd like it

Taerin responds to betrayal with strategy instead of passivity, making the revenge feel active and stylish. Her fake partnership with Yoonsik develops through shared goals and growing trust, while the dating-show rules generate public confrontations, jealousy, and visual spectacle without losing the leads' personal stakes.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Cheating drives the opening arc, and several contestants behave badly for extended periods. The show format requires frequent deception and manufactured drama, while the story ends soon after the central couple acknowledges its feelings, limiting the amount of established-relationship content.
