Synopsis

Once an accomplished competitive player, Selene has lost the life and confidence that once defined her. In an online game, she encounters Hunter, a popular and generous player whose circumstances seem far removed from her own. Their partnership gives her an opportunity to reconnect with her abilities, but teamwork inside a game cannot automatically solve the pressures outside it. As their bond becomes more personal, both must navigate the distance between online identities, real ambitions, and the risks of trusting another person.

Story profile
★ My Take

The strongest hook is the connection between recovering confidence and learning to rely on a teammate. Selene’s established ability gives the relationship a more reciprocal basis than a simple rescue fantasy, while the gaming setting creates room for playful rivalry. This is a provisional editorial assessment because substantial independent discussion is limited; the appeal is clearest for readers who want romantic development alongside a competitive comeback.

✓ Why you'd like it

The gap between an avatar’s reputation and its player’s everyday life gives ordinary encounters an extra layer of anticipation. A good teammate can become someone worth knowing beyond the screen, making recognition, trust, and shared victories carry emotional weight as well as competitive value.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Gaming terminology and the movement between virtual and everyday settings require some adjustment. Independent reception is too sparse to establish a broad critical consensus, so the scores are provisional. Tapas lists 121 episodes; Comikey divides its translation into 126 chapters.
