Synopsis

Helga has spent her life proving herself worthy of Duke Yutrit's name, despite knowing she was switched with his biological daughter at birth. When the real daughter returns, Helga is ordered to surrender her position and live under a borrowed identity. Instead of accepting another humiliation, she turns the family's expectations against them and begins building a future—and a revenge—that belongs entirely to her.

Story profile
★ My Take

Helga's competence gives the opening revenge setup real momentum, and the story is strongest when she converts years of preparation into leverage. The family conflict is satisfyingly bitter, though later romantic and political threads can dilute the sister-centered premise. Its polished art and calculating heroine still make it easy to binge.

✓ Why you'd like it

Helga does not wait for vindication; she plans her exit, protects the value she created, and makes her former family feel the consequences of underestimating her. That agency gives the familiar replacement-daughter premise a sharper, more strategic edge.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

The innocent biological daughter absorbs blame created by the adults, which can make Helga's hostility feel unfair. The revenge also becomes less focused once romance and broader noble politics take more space.
