Synopsis

Hanju is an ordinary university student in public and the popular anonymous cover artist PLII online. Keeping those identities separate protects her privacy and lets her make music without expectations. The arrangement becomes unstable when Levi, a member of a famous idol group, asks PLII to collaborate and then encounters Hanju through a class project. He is drawn to both versions of her without realizing they are the same person. As their creative partnership and attraction deepen, Hanju must decide whether secrecy still protects her or prevents anyone from knowing the artist she wants to become.

Story profile
★ My Take

Secret Playlist makes anonymity more than a cute romantic obstacle. Hanju's hidden channel represents creative freedom, while Levi's public career shows how quickly music can become obligation and branding. Their attraction grows through shared work, making the musical connection feel central instead of decorative. Levi is persistent but generally warm, and Hanju's fear of exposure remains understandable in an environment where fans scrutinize every association. 2F's polished art suits the idol setting, with expressive character styling and appealing performance scenes. The middle relies on near-reveals and misunderstandings that can feel repetitive, and the entertainment-industry conflicts are softened for romance. Even so, the completed story gives Hanju meaningful growth from hiding her talent toward choosing how she wants to be seen. The couple works because each recognizes the other's creative self before fully understanding the public identity attached to it.

✓ Why you'd like it

Readers get secret-identity tension, campus proximity, idol glamour, and a romance rooted in mutual appreciation of music. Hanju has a goal independent of dating, while Levi's celebrity status creates obstacles without making him emotionally inaccessible. The tone stays comparatively gentle, and the finished run offers both romantic and creative payoff. It is especially suited to readers who enjoy online-creator stories but want lower stakes than darker fame narratives.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Repeated close calls around Hanju's identity can stretch credibility. The series presents idol life selectively, so industry exploitation and fandom behavior are less complex than in a serious show-business drama. Levi's interest occasionally puts pressure on Hanju's boundaries even when his intent is affectionate. Readers uninterested in music or celebrity secrecy may find the central conflict too prolonged.
