Synopsis

After being ghosted and enduring years of heartbreak, Eunkyo settles into a quiet life running a café with her best friend. Her peace ends when Jaeheon, their wild and handsome new basement tenant, pushes into her world and tests her determination to stay away from dating.

Story profile
★ My Take

A strong hook and grown-up emotional baggage give this modern romance more bite than a simple handsome-tenant setup. Jaeheon's unpredictability keeps the pages turning, while Eunkyo's caution feels understandable; the triangle and withheld truths can, however, make the relationship deliberately stressful.

✓ Why you'd like it

The chemistry arrives quickly, but trust does not. Readers who enjoy suspicious charm, emotional push-and-pull, and trying to work out what the male lead is hiding should find it very bingeable.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Its appeal depends on tolerating evasive behavior, romantic uncertainty, and a love triangle. Readers wanting transparent communication or an immediately dependable green-flag lead may find the drama exhausting.
