Synopsis

Kim Eugenie is reincarnated inside a novel as Sapphire, the eldest daughter of Marquis Descartes—and, more dangerously, the sister of the story's villainess. Her new identity places her inside an aristocratic family whose fate has already been written. With knowledge that her world is fictional but only limited control over its characters, Sapphire must learn what role the villainess's sister is expected to play and whether she can redirect the family's future.

Story profile
★ My Take

I became the villainess's sister is still at the earliest stage of publication, so the available seven chapters establish the reincarnation hook and noble-family position more than they demonstrate the full romance or long-term conflict. The most promising choice is making Sapphire the villainess's elder sister rather than the villainess herself: that relationship could shift the familiar survival story toward loyalty, responsibility, and competing interpretations of a supposedly doomed character. Katy.rose's Canvas presentation has the direct, developing quality of an independent project, and readers should expect its craft and pacing to evolve alongside serialization. There is not yet enough reader discussion to claim a stable consensus, but the premise should interest genre fans who enjoy discovering small series before their central dynamics are fully revealed.

✓ Why you'd like it

The sister role offers a less common angle on the villainess formula, positioning the reincarnated heroine close enough to influence the plot without simply replacing its notorious character. Because the series is new and independently published, readers can follow its world and artwork as they develop and engage with it from the beginning.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Only seven short chapters are currently available, so the romance, central antagonist, and eventual direction remain too undeveloped for a confident verdict. The independent Canvas production is less polished than a studio-backed release, and updates have not followed a firmly established schedule. Readers wanting a substantial backlog should wait.
