Synopsis

Sangla Heeyo, beloved daughter of powerful rulers of the celestial and underworld realms, possesses extraordinary divine power but has spent centuries trapped in a frail body. In the afterlife she meets the spirit of mortal Princess Ruhwa and hears how the girl's life ended in tragedy. Heeyo offers Ruhwa a new immortal life and takes over her human body in exchange. Healthy for the first time, Heeyo enters the mortal palace determined to enjoy ordinary life while uncovering who destroyed Ruhwa.

Story profile
★ My Take

The premise immediately separates this series from standard terminal-illness romance because Heeyo begins as an immensely powerful immortal rather than a helpless patient. Her delight in simple physical freedom gives the opening warmth, while Ruhwa's death provides a darker mystery underneath it. The East Asian-inspired supernatural setting is a welcome change of scenery. Because the English release is brand new, the romance and investigation are still largely setup.

✓ Why you'd like it

Heeyo can finally experience ordinary things her divine status and weak body denied her, which makes small pleasures unexpectedly meaningful. At the same time, she has enough supernatural power to pursue Ruhwa's killers herself, giving the princess-body premise a confident, revenge-driven twist.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Only a small number of English episodes are currently available, so most relationships and mysteries remain unresolved. Readers wanting immediate romance may also find the early focus on mythology, palace intrigue, and Ruhwa's past slower than expected.
