Synopsis

Livenia and Heinrich enter a political marriage when both are still young, but what begins as an arrangement gradually becomes the family neither had before. Livenia's sudden death ends that fragile happiness. Reborn years later in another body, she intends to live free from the judgment that shaped her first life. Then she discovers Heinrich has spent ten years unable to move past her death, forcing her to choose between protecting her new identity and returning to the husband she left behind.

Story profile
★ My Take

The series leans into grief more than the title initially suggests, and Heinrich's inability to move on gives the reincarnation setup genuine emotional weight. Livenia's new identity creates an effective conflict between freedom and unfinished love. The reunion premise is compelling, though the age and body-change complications may be uncomfortable for some readers. Its slow emotional pacing suits the bittersweet tone.

✓ Why you'd like it

Livenia gets the fresh start she once wanted, only to discover that the person she left behind never emotionally recovered. That turns reincarnation from simple wish fulfillment into a difficult choice between a new life and an old promise.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

The age difference and reincarnated-body dynamic may make the romance uncomfortable for some readers. Grief and longing dominate much of the story, so the tone is heavier than a typical second-chance romance.
