Synopsis

Cheon Yeo-un is an illegitimate heir of the Demonic Cult who must compete against his powerful half-siblings for the position of Minor Priest. When a descendant from the future injects him with a nanomachine, its advanced assistance gives him a path from a hunted underdog to a terrifying martial artist.

Story profile
★ My Take

The early academy and succession arcs are exceptionally bingeable because every scan, copied technique, and calculated victory makes Yeo-un's growth feel immediate. The clean action art and merciless lead give the series a strong identity, although later arcs lean more heavily on domination and power flexing than on the scrappy tension that made the opening so effective.

✓ Why you'd like it

Readers who enjoy fast, visible progression get a satisfying mix of martial-arts training, tactical fights, revenge, and an unapologetically ruthless protagonist. The nanotechnology gimmick also makes familiar murim advancement feel fresh without replacing the martial-arts setting.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Yeo-un becomes increasingly brutal, side characters receive less attention as his power grows, and the story contains graphic violence plus a later sexual situation commonly criticized for dubious consent. Readers who want a compassionate hero, balanced ensemble, or meaningful romance may find the later direction frustrating.
