Synopsis

Duke Voreoti, feared throughout the empire for his cold temperament, unexpectedly chooses a bold orphan named Leonia as his daughter. Taken from a corrupt orphanage to his snowy estate, she quickly adapts to a household of formidable knights and learns what it means to belong to the Voreoti family. Her black hair, unusual fangs, and fearless personality soon raise questions about her origins. As father and daughter grow close, their shared traits suggest that the adoption may not be simple coincidence.

Story profile
★ My Take

Leonia's shameless confidence and Ferio's dry reactions make this one of the livelier father-daughter fantasies. Their banter avoids reducing her to a decorative child, and the gradual bloodline mystery gives the domestic comedy direction. The story sometimes lingers on repeated jokes and side conflicts, but the central family chemistry remains consistently charming.

✓ Why you'd like it

Leonia talks back, negotiates, and embraces the Voreoti family's fearsome reputation, creating a partnership with her adoptive father rather than a one-way rescue fantasy. Their matching intensity fuels excellent comedy, while the estate's knights expand the relationship into a warm, unconventional household.

⚠ What may not be for everyone

Romance is minimal for much of the story, despite the platform category. The narrative can stretch family jokes and aristocratic subplots across several episodes, and Leonia's unusually mature, aggressive humor may not appeal to readers seeking a softer child protagonist.
